motorcycle ministry
Our biker ministry is a division of a nonprofit 501(c)(3) street ministry called Baptist Missional Ministry, which focuses on financially helping local people in need and disciplining them in the ways of God thru one-on-one mentoring and weekly participatory Bible studies.
They are like a church without walls who prefer to go out into the public and provide real love and spiritual ministering to the less fortunate people in society.
It is that ministry that provides funding for our operation.
While we work hard to meet the spiritual needs of the local bikers, there is a nonprofit organization called ABATE that is working hard behind the scenes to protect the legal rights, and promote the safety, of the local bikers.
They are known as an MRO, a "motorcycle right organization".
We have become official members of ABATE, the South East Chapter, which is the largest in the state of Florida, and we enjoy attending their monthly meetings at the American Legion Post 142 in Broward county.
We are impressed how a group of wonderful people volunteer their talents and skills to put out a monthly newsletter to keep everyone informed of everything that is happening in the local biker scene. We admire how they work hard to lobby for the preservation of basic rights for motorcycle riders, and we are moved by their genuine love for bikers and their enthusiasm to keep the biker culture alive.

From 2021-2023, we were scouting for a Christian Motorcycle Club, an "MC", to affiliate with since they are usually made up of real bikers who happen to be real Christians, too. Most members of an MC are truly into Harley, the local and distant riding scene, and are very familiar with the local MCs and 1%ers, and the biker culture in general on full-time basis.
We, on the other hand, are a "ministry", an MM, called and anointed of God to be a support system for a local Christian MC. We are made up of member with lesser available free time but with a great love towards the local bikers. And that is one of the reasons that we decided to become a support group for a more dedicated MC in our area.
But the main reason we were serious about being an official support group for a dedicated MC, is that we are genuinely very "Kingdon-minded".
The Kingdom of Jesus Christ is far greater than any motorcycle group. It includes loyal followers of Jesus all over the world. We are serious about building the kingdom. We want to give away to other motorcycle groups many of the blessings God has given to us. This is done by sharing our financial resources, sharing what we have learned, learning from others, sending volunteers and do much more. We rejoice when motorcycle groups and Christians outside our ministry prosper and succeed.
We are also thrilled when God allows us to have a small part in the great good He is doing for those we officially support.
Thus, after a whole year of proving ourselves to the Gideons MC, we finally became honored to have been received by them as an official support group. We therefore continue to take a very active role in weekly fellowships with them, ministering to their needs, and showing our presence in support of their events. We truly have a lot of fun hanging with the Gideons.
From the moment we met the Gideons, we were very impressed at their devotion to God, at the sacrifices they make to minister within the biker scene all over the State of Florida, and at their personal Christian living.
So yes .... we love the Gideons MC.
