WHAT IS BAPTIZED RIDERS MINISTRY?

It is a soul-winning ministry made up of dedicated members from all walks of life, nationalities, and age group who feel called of God to share the love and gospel of Jesus Christ within the local biker community.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

Currently we are ministering in Miami, Florida and its surrounding areas.

WHO CAN JOIN?

Anyone -- men, women, and young people -- who has repented of their sins and accepted Jesus Christ as personal savior, and is making sincere effort to live a life pleasing to God, can join. No experience is needed. We will train.

IS THERE A MEMBERSHIP FEE?

No. But as a member it is reasonable to expect for you to be financially and voluntarily supportive of our ministry as the Bible instructs in 2 Corinthians 9:7 >> Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. <<

IS THERE A PROBATIONARY PERIOD?

We encourage that you first HANG AROUND with us, whenever you get a chance, to see if you feel in your heart that it is IN OUR MINISTRY where you can best serve God. That hang around period must be at least 4 consecutive weeks at a minimum and can last as long as you wish. AFTERWARDS, if you still wish to proceed with being an official member, you are to wear a black leather vest, with no patches, and attend all of our events for a minimum of 8 consecutive weeks. FINALLY, once we have witnessed your genuine desire to live a life pleasing to God and to serve in our ministry, you will have earned the right to wear our patches, also called colors. There will be special circumstances where membership applicant may be issued an honorary full membership at the President's discretion. But those are very rare.

ARE MEMBERS REQUIRED TO RIDE MOTORCYCLES?

It is encouraged, but not required. We are a motorcycle MINISTRY organization, not a motorcycle BIKER CLUB. There is a huge difference between the two, although both groups' mission is to share the love and gospel of Jesus Christ. However, each has its own level of commitment and involvement.

CAN WOMEN AND YOUNG PEOPLE JOIN?

Definitely, yes. Women and young people are welcome to join our ministry. In fact, these two groups of people do play a very important role in our ministry.

CAN A MEMBER START A CHAPTER?

A full patched member may start his or her own chapter. Doing so carries a lot of responsibility If that is your goal, please discuss it with us as soon as you become a full patched member, and we will support you in starting one.

ARE YOU AFFILIATED WITH ANY OTHER GROUP?

We are honored to be an official support group for Florida's GIDEONS MOTORCYCLE CLUB, another Christian group. We are also active members of ABATE Southeast Chapter. We are not affiliated with any church or denomination, although we do share the same beliefs as the Independent Baptists.
